The first restaurant which came up in Platis Gialos Beach in the ’60s is still here with the same successful recipe. At the same location, right on the sandy beach and privileged with a free view of the Aegean Sea, it serves quality Greek cuisine. The menu flirts with traditional snacks, fresh fish and seafood, meat, pasta, salads, etc. which arrive on our table with a pretty modern style, yet with the same rich taste!

In a strategic location on the Kampani Coast, it enjoys the view, the sea, and the busy streets of Gyalos. Vegera is the meeting point for coffee, brunch, meal, and drinks at the traditional space that used to house Skaropoulos’ historic coffee shop. A point of reference for Mykonos with famous personalities having been there (see Jackie Kennedy) and Mykonian firsts to having been included in its record (the first jukebox played here), it joins all fans of good Mediterranean cuisine. Most of you know the restaurant as “Pasta Fresca”. Given that “Pasta Fresca” is now used as the appellation of other food service businesses which have nothing to do with it, its people highlight that “Pasta Fresca Barkia” is the first restaurant of handmade pasta production in Mykonos since 1978. Up to this day, it is set in 15, Kouzi Georgouli Str. in Barkia and distinguishes from the other restaurants because it is the only one housed in a 3floor traditional building in Chora of Mykonos.
The replication of their ideas constitutes the biggest proof for their successful progression establishing Pasta Fresca Barkia as the best of its kind. Guided by the great experience in handmade pasta production, they keep on working aiming at the attainment of gastronomic delights and high standards services.
